The Wix alternative for contractors who don't want to build a website.
Wix is a good tool if you want to design a site yourself. Most contractors don't. With Launchly you don't build anything: we build your site, keep it updated and you only pay if you like it.
Wix vs. Launchly for contractors
The real difference isn't the price. It's who does the work.
| Wix | Launchly | |
|---|---|---|
| Who builds the site | You do: pick a template, write every page, add photos | We do. You send your info and photos. |
| Price | From about $17/mo billed yearly (Light), about $24/mo billed monthly; $29/mo for Core | $49/mo, no build fee (or $99/mo with Local SEO) |
| Your domain | Free for the first year on yearly plans, then you pay for it | Included. You keep it if you cancel. |
| Contractor features | Possible, but you have to set up service pages, a quote form and your license number yourself | Service pages, service area, quote form, tap-to-call, license number, built in |
| Making changes | You log in and edit it yourself | Text or email us. Unlimited. |
| Pay before you see it? | Yes, you pay for the plan, then build | No. We build it first; pay only if you like it |

Common questions
Is Wix good for contractors?
Wix can make a good contractor website if you put in the time to build service pages, a project gallery, a quote form and keep it updated. Most contractors would rather be on jobs, which is why done-for-you sites exist.
How much does Wix cost compared to Launchly?
As listed in late 2026, Wix starts around $17 a month billed yearly (about $24 billed monthly), and you build the site yourself. Launchly is $49 a month and we build and update it for you, with no build fee. Check wix.com for current Wix prices.
Can you move my Wix site to Launchly?
Yes. Paste your Wix address and we rebuild it with your info, photos and logo, free. If you own your domain, we point it at the new site when you are ready.
What happens to my wixsite.com address?
Free Wix addresses look like yourname.wixsite.com. We put your new site on a real domain like yourbusiness.com, included free.
See your new site before you cancel Wix.
We rebuild it free. You decide.
